Arrival at our Bike Base in Jamnica. Welcome, bike setup and a relaxed tour briefing to get to know the week ahead. Time to arrive, slow down and settle into the rhythm of the tour.

Dinner during the first three evenings at Ecohotel Koroš is mostly prepared from organic ingredients produced on our own farm and by nearby local farmers.

A relaxed first riding day in the hills above our Bike Base. Wide panoramas, quiet forests and natural singletrails set the tone for the days ahead. Jamnica offers flowing descents, gentle climbs and the perfect environment to arrive, ride and feel at home.

Lunch is usually taken at a local mountain farm, followed by a final descent back to our base.

A short morning shuttle brings us to the Podpeca area. From there we ride along scenic and safe ridgelines above the valley, using historic paths shaped by miners and farmers. Rolling terrain, manageable climbs and long descents create a rewarding and enjoyable day on the bike. To finish the day, we experience Underground Biking — a calm, smooth and truly unique ride through an old mine.

Flexibility: Underground Biking is included. Guests who prefer not to ride through the mine will be transferred to the nearby museum.

We ride Flow trail Petzen MTB Zone. Smooth, confidence-building riding makes this day enjoyable for a wide range of riders. Cable car support is used when available; shuttle alternatives are always possible. After lunch, we travel comfortably across the Slovenian Alps toward the Soča Valley, with an optional stop at Lake Bled for coffee and the famous Bled cake.

In the Kobarid area there are many excellent restaurants. For this and the following evening, we will gladly recommend where you can enjoy dinner on your own — from traditional local cuisine to outstanding fine dining.

Trail conditions in the Soča Valley depend on weather, but thanks to local guides and multiple options, the most suitable routes are always chosen on site. We ride easy to moderate alpine trails, many of them originally built during World War I, offering spectacular views above the emerald Soča River.
There is plenty of time for photos, stories and quiet moments.

Matajur and Kolovrat are border mountains between Slovenia and Italy, rich in legends and history. We ride selected sections of the Matajur area, crossing into Italy on panoramic trails adapted to conditions. After lunch, a shuttle brings us back to the panoramic Kolovrat ridge, where World War I fortifications can be visited. A final descent leads us back into the Soča Valley, followed by a late-afternoon transfer south to the Vipava Valley.

Dinner in this region reflects the Mediterranean character of the Vipava Valley, with locally produced food and wines.
Overnight: Pension *** Vipava Valley (half board)
A relaxed final riding day with a completely different character. From the Dinaric forest plateau above our hotel, we ride scenic trails toward the Vipava Valley. Views open toward the Adriatic Sea, the Karst and the Istria region, before finishing among vineyards. Local enthusiasts’ trails allow us to extend the ride if desired, finishing with lunch in the historic Roman town of Ajdovščina. A shuttle brings us back for a farewell dinner with local specialties and excellent wines.
