A united mountain bike kingdom
Koroška has always been known as a kingdom. First through the legend of King Matjaž, who is said to be sleeping beneath Mount Peca. Much later – almost unnoticed – it became a kingdom of mountain biking as well. Shaped by natural trails, local builders, clubs, guides, events, and riders who formed the region with their hands, tools, and vision.
Trail Kingdom Koroška is the shared story of these trails today. One brand, multiple destinations, connected into a single MTB region – with more than 100 km of trails woven into one coherent riding experience.
Heart of the kingdom: Bike Base Jamnica
Our base, Single Trail Park Jamnica, is one of the pioneers of Slovenian mountain biking and the place where it all began. Carefully shaped natural trails, professional infrastructure, and decades of experience have created a riding culture that is today recognised across the region – and far beyond.
From Jamnica, all other key Trail Kingdom destinations are directly accessible by bike.

BIKE PARK POSEKA – Ravne na Koroškem
An accessible bike park with smooth flow lines and progressive features.
Ideal for first-time bike park riders, yet engaging enough to keep experienced riders coming back. On selected days, uplift to the trailheads is available via the Easyloop lift system, providing comfortable and easy access to the trails.
Mežica Trails
Home-built trails just above the town, with a strong local identity.
Connected across Mount Peca towards Črna na Koroškem – a former base of Bikenomad and an important milestone in the early development of mountain bike tourism in Slovenia.
Ridgeline Trails
Higher up the valley, trails follow natural ridgelines through remote and peaceful forests.
Natural and hand-built singletracks, scenic views, and a true sense of wilderness define this area.
The trail offering in this part of the Karavanke UNESCO Global Geopark is further enriched by two world-famous MTB routes: the easier Underground Biking experience and the extreme Enduro Black Hole Trail.
Just across the border in Austria – yet directly connected via trails and local roads – lies MTB ZONE – Bike Park Petzen, with a gondola providing access to Mount Peca, where King Matjaž is said to sleep.
One of the longest flow trails in Europe, the iconic enduro Thriller, dedicated EWS trails, and a smaller bike park at the mountain’s base complete the cross-border Trail Kingdom experience.
A little further – but worth the ride
Approximately 45 minutes by car from Jamnica: Bike Park Kope
– diverse trails, jumps, and a destination steadily establishing itself as one of Slovenia’s better-known bike parks.
One brand, one future
Trail Kingdom Koroška brings together four MTB providers within the Karavanke UNESCO Global Geopark under a single umbrella.
The first step is unified trail signage, wayfinding, and safety boards, coming already this year.
From 2026 onwards, new connections, shared products, and an even more refined rider experience will follow.
Built on experience – proven on the world stage
That Koroška is on the right path is confirmed by the fact that Enduro World Series events were organised and hosted here in 2018 and 2022. World-class races that firmly placed the region on the map of Europe’s most serious mountain bike destinations.
