ALPS & ADRIATIC - SINGLE TRAILS TOUR

Information meeting. First day we usually start with Jamnica ride, which is a ride on panoramic hills around our base. It is combined with single tracks, fire roads and some dirt roads as well. Smooth or advanced single tracks in the forests around, prepares you for the terrain on which we will be riding next days. Probably we will have lunch at tourism farm around midday and have some nice small climbing to a single track, which ends at our bike base.

Morning shuttle to Podpeca where in the past miners, farmers and hunters create a network  of paths – now called single trails.  After short  uphill on forest road and cart tracks to the point where is the beginning of our epic ridge single trails ride, which take us with some uphill’s in between down to the valley. 
In the afternoon, we will take on a unique mountain bike experience, the underground biking*. Biking trough a onetime mine is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, which can only be done in our region and nowhere else in the world.  (*For experienced riders – Black Hole Trail)

One of the longest flow trail in Europe – Petzen ( Austria), with the challenging trails Thriller and EWS trail  are Top fun for most of the mountain bikers. In case that cable car doesn't operate on that dates ( in May or October)  we will shuttle you as highest as possible to enjoy the trails.

After lunch, you will jump in cars and drive across  Karavanke mountains to Bled lake in the Julian Alps.

Morning transfer to next region.  At this day you have 2 option – easy cycling on mountain Panorama road in Savinja Alps or going with Cable Car up to Bike Park Krvavec (Intermediate and Advanced Trails.   Late afternoon transfer to Bled area.

Morning transfer to highest pass in Slovenian Alps. At the top we’ll start riding again to the beautiful valley of emerald river Soča. Descent from the top to a famous outdoor town Bovec, will serve us with some breath-taking views in Triglav National Park.
After lunch we will take trasfer again to the Stol Mountain.  Due to its history during World War I, the valley is full of military paths and terraces, which provide a variety of small trails. Its unique, beautiful and unspoiled nature makes it perfect for unlimited fun and here we will continue with one of the best rides in the famous Soča Valley.

Today you will ride the famous Matajur Trail which lead to Italy. Trail is not ride-able in wet conditions and in case of bed weather we will find an alternative option.
After the tour in late afternoon we will be leaving the Alps and heading south to the Mediterranean part.

Different landscape and climate will make us think we are in a completely different place of the world. While biking on the high mountain plateau of the region, our views will open to the Mediterranean coast, Karst and Istria. Ajdovščina is one of the most  popular places for Slovenia  Enduro Cup. This day tour will end with biking through vineyards of   friendly and warm Vipava valley, which in bed weather get the name Valley of the Wind, and we hope that you won't feel why.
In the afternoon there is an option to visit the famost UNESCO Škocian Caves

Morning transfer to Slavnik last highest mountain on our tour. Trail will lead you at the Karst edge to the Istria and after the lunch we will transfer you to Croatian part of this historic and magic landscape.

Shallow Istrian peaks are perfect place for flowy natural single trails. Local enthusiast who build them are traditionally organising end of the season enduro race hosting racers, recreational and professional mountain bike enthusiast from all around Central and Eastern Europe.   To conclude the week we will ride the trail Parencana (ex railroad) over costal hills to end up on Mediterranean cost in one of Venetian small medieval town, where we could jump into the sea and where we will stay on the last night.
